Programming as you know it is due to women
You can't believe this but women were the first pioneers of programming
The majority of us, when we see a woman in programming, find it a bit surprising and assume that the field is too difficult for her. However, the truth is that women were among the pioneers of this domain. The first programmer in history was Ada Lovelace, who wrote the fi
rst algorithm in the 19th century and had a visionary understanding of what computers could achieve. Following her was Grace Hopper, who invented the first compiler for programming languages and contributed to the creation of COBOL, one of the oldest programming languages still in use today.
Similarly, the work of women like Katherine Johnson and Margaret Hamilton with NASA was crucial in history. They provided precise calculations and software that enabled the Apollo missions to land on the moon. These achievements were accomplished under challenging conditions, using machine language that required immense patience and precision.
The lessons are clear: programming is a field that relies on passion and creativity, not gender. Today, many women excel in global companies and are shaping the future. Despite the challenges, ambition and perseverance remain the keys to success
Seriously? ,,You can't believe this but women were..." What a sexist article. Come one, it's 21 century. I'm so disappointed by this article and unsubscribing right now. I thought it was some sort of a joke. If you want to write article about equality choose your words carefully, don't write stereotype in first senctence. Can you emagine seeing article like "Can you belive that man can be a programmer? And it gets worse - ,,The majority of us, when we see a woman in programming, find it a bit surprising and assume that the field is too difficult for her" - Maybe you are sexist but don't write things like that if you want to write article that aims to praise women in tech
